Today's outfit is one that I'm super excited to feature! I wore it to Sunday Brunch with one of my best girlfriends from high school. We saw each other at our 10 year high school reunion last summer and were finally able to get together. Upon figuring out where to go for our outing, I decided to don two of the latest additions to my wardrobe: the ivory blazer and printed romper. I picked up both the other weekend at a super cute boutique in my neighborhood called SolanaZoe. Quick store review: bright, great layout, super sweet staff and awesomely cute/chic clothes and accessories at very affordable prices. If you're in the SATX area, you should really check this store out!
Anyway, our brunch was absolutely wonderful - it was so much fun catching up! We had much to talk about: jobs, significant others, children (in my case my adorable nieces), family and friends. Even though we were both a bit disappointed in the service and quality of the food (such a shame because this restaurant used to be AMAZING), we very much enjoyed each other's company. And of course the bottomless mimosas. What Sunday Brunch would be complete without them?!

Oh beach vacation - when will you come?
I'm particularly excited to debut today's outfit. To me, this dress just screams BEACH VACATION! While I'm not going to the beach right now - hoping to sometime this Summer, though - there's no reason I can't dress like I am!
Anyway, when I chose this outfit to wear for a jaunt around town last Saturday, I figured the perfect place to take pictures was by the pool - see the blue peaking out in the background? Really wish I could have lounged by the water for a while, but there were a few families with some adorable kiddos splashing about in the water. Thank goodness the parentals have pools (one at mom's and another at dad's)!
Do you have any exciting travel plans for the Summer?

All I could do was laugh! I think we had to take about 60 different photos
because of the wind.
Does this print look familiar? If you're a fan of Lilly Pulitzer it should!
Snagged this dress for only $35 the weekend that Lily debuted her line for Target.

The key with prints is to keep jewelry minimal/simple so the focus is the print.
